I ain’t too proud to beg: Help me simplify my life!
I’ve mentioned before that, since moving to New Jersey a few months ago, I’ve noticed there are lots and lots of good-looking men here; the most memorable so far being the cop from Florham Park that made me week in the knees. And, even though we barely spoke, this mystery man of sorts has had my heart on fire merely thinking about him all this time.
UNTIL NOW.

*heavenly music resounds in my brain*
As a member of the Mom Bloggers Club, I have the opportunity to win it thanks to a special sweepstakes being offered by MBC, HP and Windows 7 (what is Windows 7?). HP tells us the computer is personal again and it’s a “smart choice for your future. “ Indeed, HP.
Since my kids and I moved to our new home, we have shared the same desktop computer. In fact, it’s been the three of us AND my parents. While it has been such a blessing that my parents offered to share their computer with us, the accessibility has been terribly inconvenient on so many levels: I’ve had to do my online work, resume editing and maintaining my calendar while my kids are at school — if I need to work on something at night…forget it!…it’s in Ethan’s room, and he’s in bed at 830 pm. I could use my Crackberry for light work, but my service provider’s signal is extremely weak in this area and all the darn thing does is drain its battery faster than a speeding bullet. Plus, my thumbs are really getting sick of me abusing them.
Mom Bloggers Club, HP and Windows 7, I ain’t too proud to beg: HELP ME SIMPLIFY MY LIFE!
HP was obviously thinking of my sanity when it put this Mini together:
At about one-inch thin, I could take it anywhere in my house with a wireless connection, or I could put the Mini in my purse and head to my favorite wired coffee shop and do my work there (yay for the increased energy efficiency, too)!
Having something like this would enable me to bring it along for a ride as I continue to explore New Jersey and the rest of the East Coast. I wouldn’t have to wait until my son stops playing games on the computer, or wait until my dad gets done with reading e-mails… I would never have an excuse to forget uploading my pictures again! I wouldn’t have to wait until I get home to the desktop PC to upload my pictures and videos, I could hook up my camera to the computer and GET IT DONE.
ARE YOU MAKING GOO-GOO EYES AT IT WITH ME?!
I know, I know… I can hardly believe it’s real. So long to the Florham Park cop!
